As an avid cyclists, she knows the benefit of yoga for athletes, offering short and easy to follow videos on the studio YouTube channel. Martha's teaching is lighthearted and fun, encouraging everyone to meet the practice where they are!

Sylvia Amsler

Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (Level 1 CIYT 2022)

Sylvia received her first introduction to Iyengar Yoga in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2001, where she took classes with Laurie Blakeney. She was immediately drawn in by the clear, precise instruction in an Iyengar class and has come to value the bodily intelligence that develops with a sustained Iyengar practice. Since moving to Little Rock in 2007, Sylvia has been a student at the Yoga Studio of Little Rock. In 2022 she began studying with Randy Just in Dallas.  She became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher in September 2022. She is excited to share her yoga practice with others who want to develop alignment, strength, balance, flexibility and awareness. Off the mat, Sylvia has a PhD in biological anthropology and teaches courses at UA Little Rock.
